Paul has really gotten into riding his horse lately! This is a funny video of him in action...notice how he says "EE-AH" which is his way of saying "Yee-Haw"!

Easter Dinner

We had a nice dinner with family on Sunday...Paul got another great Easter basket and was able to play with Auntie Marissa! Paul looked so cute in his Easter outfit from Grammy and he liked checking himself out in the mirror like he always does when he's "dressed up"! What a great Easter weeekend!

Easter Sunday

We enjoyed a nice morning at home before going to Bob and Diane's for Easter dinner. I hid Paul's Easter basket while he was sleeping and when he woke up, we told him the Easter Bunny had hidden a present for him. Wow, did that ever get his attention! The pictures don't quite capture his excitement of looking for his basket and then finding it. The basket was on the bottom rung of a decorative ladder and when he spotted the big fire truck, his eyes got huge and he said, "Woah!"! How fun!!

Easter Eggs

Paul had a GREAT time dyeing Easter Eggs at Bob and Diane's house! I wasn't sure if he was going to get bored with the process but he loved dropping the egg into the coloring and using the dipper (and often his whole hand) to take the egg out. I think we colored well over 2 dozen eggs!
Thanks for a fun evening, Grandma and Grandpa!

Great Lakes Aquarium

We took Paul to the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth on Saturday and Grandpa Bob came along as well. We had a great time! Paul was a little unsure of the huge fish tanks at first but he quickly warmed up when he got to the water table. He played at the water table forever and got soaked but had a blast. Some other parents had obviously been to the aquarium before because I saw they had a change of clothes for their kids...oh well, we'll be more prepared next time!

It's a pretty neat freshwater aquarium and we stayed for close to 2 hours. After we were done at the aquarium, we had a great lunch at Old Chicago and Paul hardly made it ten minutes in the car and he was sound asleep! We took a scenic route home through Jay Cooke State Park and then I was out like a light as well. We had a great Saturday!
