Precious...

I had to snap a picture of the two boys snoozing together...so cute. We had a busy morning that day doing some shopping, stopping by at the bookstore, and then eating breakfast at a restaurant. Obviously it wore both Paul and Ryan out!

I'm so mad...

Usually the racing car rug we got from Grammy doesn't cause any problems...why should it, it's just a rug but for some reason it really mad Paul mad a few weeks ago! I think he kept catching a corner when he would walk across it to get to his toybox and that frustrated him. I tried to smooth it out for him but he wasn't having it! So, to fix the problem, he decided to remove the rug all together. You can see he's struggling to drag it around and the last picture shows him finally giving up and sitting down in his rocking chair (with tears on his face)! It was pretty funny but finally I had to put the rug in another room because I could tell it was going to escalate into a meltdown. You can also see in the pictures that Paul enjoys taking every single book out of his basket...now we need to work on "picking up"!

New year, new playlist

The tunes on my IPod were getting a little stale...I would find myself constantly flipping to the next song or just shutting it off. I was sick of my songs, my playlists, etc! I used some Christmas money from Bob and Diane to buy an ITunes card but now came the hard part of selecting just the right songs. I put alot of thought into what to purchase...is this the right version of the song, will I get tired of this one right away, what's the name of that song I really like, etc. I admit I'm probably overthinking this process but for as much as I have the IPod on during all my runs, I want to make good choices.

I love watching...me!

My mom sent Paul another DVD filled with pictures of himself from 2008 set to music...he LOVES to watch himself on the big screen! They are a great keepsake and fun to watch how much he changes through the months, thanks Grammy!

Sledding!

Ryan made a great sliding hill in our backyard with the snowblower last Saturday. We definitely wanted to take advantage of the warmer temperatures. It was really fun! The hill Ryan made worked out really well and Paul had a blast! He was a little hesitant at first but then quickly realized how much fun it was to go down the hill. We went again and again and again...

Fingerpainting

Paul enjoyed playing with his fingerpaints on Sunday...I'm trying to come up with ways to stay entertained while we're stuck inside! The paints held his interest for about a half hour and then he started to discover how much fun it was to paint on things besides the paper. The table, his chair, my arm...
